Key

The word “keys” in the Bible is deeply symbolic. Keys represent authority, access, control, and stewardship. Whoever holds the key has the right to open or shut, permit or deny. Let me walk you through the key references:

1. Old Testament

• Isaiah 22:22

  “I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

  • Here the key represents authority over the royal household. It’s about stewardship, trust, and responsibility.

2. Jesus and the Keys

• Matthew 16:19

  “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

  • Jesus gives Peter the keys, symbolizing spiritual authority to open the way for others (through the gospel) and to establish order in the church.

• Matthew 18:18

  • The authority of binding and loosing (allowing and forbidding) is extended to the whole church body, not just Peter.

3. Resurrected Christ

• Revelation 1:18

  “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

  • Jesus has ultimate authority over life, death, and eternity.

✨ In short, keys in the Bible symbolize spiritual authority, divine access, and responsibility.

When i ask, in my heart “How long will I suffer like Joseph in prison?” and then someone prophesies about a key—that is very meaningful. Let’s look at this spiritually:

Joseph’s “Prison Season”

• Joseph was innocent but confined, forgotten, and misunderstood.

• Yet, that prison was not the end—it was God’s preparation ground.

• In one single day, God moved him from prison to palace (Genesis 41:14).

What the Key Represents in Prophecy

A key in visions/prophecy usually means:

• God is giving you access to something that was closed before.

• Change of season – locked doors opening.

• Authority and freedom – you will no longer remain bound.

• Divine timing – when the appointed time comes, no man can stop what God opens for you (Revelation 3:7).

What This Means for me

I believe the Lord is reminding me:

• My suffering is not permanent.

• Just like Joseph, there is a set time for release and elevation.

• The “key” shown to our pastor may symbolize that the time of unlocking is near—maybe in my ministry, business, or a long-awaited prayer.

• The suffering i feel now is shaping my character for the responsibility that’s coming.

Encouragement from Scripture

• Psalm 105:19 – “Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.”
  → Joseph waited, but when the word came, nothing could stop it.

• Habakkuk 2:3 – “The vision is yet for an appointed time… though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come, it will not delay.”

🌿 My season of waiting is not wasted. The key in the vision is God’s assurance that He is about to unlock something for me.

बाइबल में “चाबी” का अर्थ

बाइबल में चाबी एक गहरा प्रतीक है। चाबी अधिकार, पहुँच, नियंत्रण और भण्डारीपन (stewardship) को दर्शाती है। जिसके पास चाबी होती है, वही दरवाज़ा खोलने या बन्द करने, अनुमति देने या रोकने का अधिकार रखता है।

1. पुराना नियम

यशायाह 22:22

“मैं दाऊद के घर की चाबी उसके कंधे पर रखूँगा; वह जो खोलेगा उसे कोई बन्द न कर सकेगा, और जो बन्द करेगा उसे कोई खोल न सकेगा।”

यहाँ चाबी राजमहल के अधिकार को दर्शाती है। यह भण्डारीपन, भरोसा और ज़िम्मेदारी का प्रतीक है।

2. यीशु और चाबी

मत्ती 16:19

“मैं तुझे स्वर्ग के राज्य की कुंजियाँ दूँगा; जो कुछ तू पृथ्वी पर बाँधेगा, वह स्वर्ग में बँधेगा, और जो कुछ तू पृथ्वी पर खोलेगा, वह स्वर्ग में खुलेगा।”

यहाँ यीशु पतरस को चाबी देते हैं, जो आत्मिक अधिकार और सुसमाचार के द्वारा लोगों के लिये मार्ग खोलने का प्रतीक है।

मत्ती 18:18

यह अधिकार केवल पतरस तक सीमित नहीं, बल्कि पूरी कलीसिया को दिया गया है—बाँधने और खोलने का।

3. पुनर्जीवित मसीह

प्रकाशितवाक्य 1:18

“मैं जीवित हूँ; मैं मरा था और देखो, युगानुयुग जीवित हूँ! और मेरे पास अधोलोक और मृत्यु की कुंजियाँ हैं।”

यीशु के पास जीवन, मृत्यु और अनन्तता पर सर्वोच्च अधिकार है।

प्रकाशितवाक्य 3:7

“यह वही कहता है जो पवित्र और सच्चा है, जिसके पास दाऊद की कुंजी है। जो खोलता है उसे कोई बन्द नहीं कर सकता, और जो बन्द करता है उसे कोई खोल नहीं सकता।”

मसीह के पास अकेले परमेश्वर के राज्य का प्रवेश देने का अधिकार है।

4. चाबी = अधिकार

• प्रकाशितवाक्य 9:1 – गिरे हुए तारे को अथाह कुण्ड की कुंजी दी गई (न्याय प्रकट करने का अधिकार)।

• प्रकाशितवाक्य 20:1 – स्वर्गदूत के पास अथाह कुण्ड की कुंजी थी जिससे उसने शैतान को बाँधा।

चाबी का आत्मिक अर्थ

• परमेश्वर के राज्य तक पहुँच – केवल मसीह पर विश्वास द्वारा।

• प्रार्थना में अधिकार – बाँधना और खोलना आत्मिक युद्ध को दर्शाता है।

• सत्य की भण्डारीपन – विश्वासियों को सुसमाचार सौंपा गया है (1 कुरिन्थियों 4:1)।

• मृत्यु पर विजय – यीशु के पास मृत्यु की कुंजी है, इसलिये विश्वासियों को मृत्यु से डरने की आवश्यकता नहीं।

✨ संक्षेप में, बाइबल में चाबी आत्मिक अधिकार, दैवीय पहुँच और ज़िम्मेदारी का प्रतीक है।

जब मैं पूछता हूँ –

“मैं कब तक यूसुफ़ की तरह जेल में दुख सहता रहूँगा?”

और फिर कोई चाबी के बारे में भविष्यवाणी करता है—तो यह बहुत गहरा अर्थ रखता है।

यूसुफ़ का “कारागार का समय”

• यूसुफ़ निर्दोष था परन्तु कैद में था, भुला दिया गया, गलत समझा गया।

• परन्तु वह जेल अन्त नहीं थी—वह परमेश्वर की तैयारी का स्थान था।

• एक ही दिन में परमेश्वर ने उसे जेल से निकालकर राजमहल में पहुँचा दिया (उत्पत्ति 41:14)।

भविष्यवाणी में “चाबी” का अर्थ

• परमेश्वर आपको वह पहुँच दे रहा है जो पहले बन्द थी।

• मौसम का परिवर्तन – बन्द दरवाज़े खुलेंगे।

• अधिकार और स्वतंत्रता – अब आप बन्धन में नहीं रहेंगे।

• दैवीय समय – जब नियत समय आ जाएगा, कोई भी उस दरवाज़े को बन्द नहीं कर सकेगा जिसे परमेश्वर खोलता है (प्रकाशितवाक्य 3:7)।

इसका मेरे लिये क्या अर्थ है

• मेरा दुख स्थायी नहीं है।

• यूसुफ़ की तरह, मेरे लिये भी एक नियत समय है जब मुझे छुड़ाया और ऊँचा उठाया जाएगा।

• हमारे पादरी को जो चाबी का दर्शन/भविष्यवाणी मिली, वह शायद इस ओर संकेत है कि मेरे लिये भी “खुलने का समय” निकट है—चाहे वह मेरी सेवकाई हो, व्यवसाय हो या कोई बहुत लम्बे समय से प्रतीक्षित प्रार्थना।

• वर्तमान दुख मुझे आने वाली ज़िम्मेदारी के लिये तैयार कर रहा है।

वचन से उत्साह

भजन संहिता 105:19 – “जब तक उसका वचन पूरा न हुआ, तब तक यहोवा का वचन उसे परखता रहा।”

→ यूसुफ़ ने प्रतीक्षा की, परन्तु जब वचन पूरा हुआ, तब कोई उसे रोक नहीं सका।

हबक्कूक 2:3 – “यह दर्शन नियत समय के लिये है… चाहे देर लगे, उसकी प्रतीक्षा कर; वह अवश्य पूरा होगा, विलम्ब नहीं करेगा।”

🌿 मेरी प्रतीक्षा व्यर्थ नहीं है। उस दर्शन में दिखाई गई चाबी परमेश्वर की यह गवाही है कि वह मेरे लिये कुछ नया खोलने जा रहा है।
