11- HEAVEN Before getting into the topic on “ The World of Evil Spirit ”, it is very important to discuss about Heaven , our eternal Home. So, Let us discuss Heaven in this Lesson. Shamayim : Shamayim is a Hebrew word which means “ Sky ”. In Greek, Shamayim is called Ouranos . Sky means infinite space expanse above our head. Our earth atmosphere, the place of stars and beyond, they all are called Sky . Shamayim is also translated as Heaven in our English Bible. Heaven is a religious term of the Sky . So, from religious context, Sky is called Heaven , believed to be the place where God dwells. Types of Heaven: Note: There are countless verses where the place of stars is called Heaven, but one example I have cited. Again we see here, the place of God Almighty is also called Heaven .
