What Is Success If God Says –

What Is Success If God Says – Psalm 127:1 Text: “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” — Psalm 127:1 Introduction: Everyone wants success — in family, business, ministry, or leadership. But the Bible gives us a sobering reminder: “Unless the Lord builds…” In other words — if God is not in it, all our effort is empty. This Psalm teaches that real success is not about what we build , but who builds with us. True success is doing God’s will , in God’s way , with God’s help , for God’s glory. 1. Success Without God Is Empty “They labor in vain who build it…” We can build many things — houses, ministries, businesses — yet still miss God’s heart. When God’s blessing is absent, no amount of human effort can fill that emptiness. Example: The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11) They said, “Let us make a name for ourselves.” They built something tall, but not something true. And it collapsed...

When God Builds the House

When God Builds the House Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Introduction: * Every one of us is *building something* — a home, a marriage, a family, a ministry, a future. * But the real question is: **Who is the builder?** * If God is not the foundation and architect, no amount of effort or planning will stand the test of time. * Psalm 127 reminds us: *Without the Lord, all our labour is in vain.* 1️⃣ God Must Be the Foundation (Relationship with God) Our first and greatest relationship is with God Himself.  Everything begins here. * When we neglect our fellowship with God — prayer, Word, obedience — we lose direction in every other area. * Ephesians 5:26 says Christ cleanses His Church “by the washing of water by the Word.” * His Word keeps us pure, aligned, and wise.   🕊 **Key Thought:** If God is not first in your heart, nothing else can stay in order. 2️⃣ God’s Ord...

Order in Relationships and Peace in Life — A Leader’s Priority

Order in Relationships and Peace in Life — A Leader’s Priority Introduction As leaders, we carry influence that shapes homes, teams, and entire communities. But lasting impact comes not from activity, but from alignment — when our relationships follow God’s divine order. When we put things out of order, we lose peace and power. When we walk in order, God’s grace flows freely. “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 1. Relationship with God — The Source of Order Our first and highest calling is intimacy with God. Everything in ministry, marriage, and leadership flows from this relationship. Without it, we lead in our own strength and eventually burn out. As leaders: Guard your devotional life. Your greatest ministry happens when your heart is aligned with His. “Abide in Me, and I in you… for without Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:4–5 2. Relationship with Spouse — The Covenant of Reflection Marriage is the first human covenant God e...

Apatani Proverbs

Apatani Proverbs on Family “Paker pamer milo miilo” – Too much argument among one’s own family destroys the whole home. “Puko puro hirung lala” – When wild beasts show off their strength, they attract the attention of hunters. “Adang tobi apii tobi mi ahii tella” – When we lose focus, we forget our main purpose. These traditional Apatani proverbs carry deep wisdom for families today. Many couples struggle because they fail to understand each other — instead of supporting one another, they end up arguing and competing. But the Bible reminds us that “two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9) , for together they can accomplish more and help each other in times of trouble. When a family walks in unity, love, and humility, their home becomes strong and unshakable.
