The More You Train Others, The Easier It Becomes

The More You Train Others, The Easier It Becomes 📖 Key Verse: 2 Timothy 2:2 – “And the things you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” Introduction Many people struggle because they try to do everything alone. But God’s plan is multiplication, not exhaustion. The more you train others, the easier things become. This principle applies to ministry, leadership, business, and family life. 1. Moses and Jethro: The Power of Delegation 📖 Exodus 18:17-23 🔹 Example: Moses was judging all of Israel’s disputes alone . Jethro, his father-in-law, told him, “What you are doing is not good. You will wear yourself out.” He advised Moses to train leaders to handle smaller cases and bring only the difficult ones to him. Result: The work became easier and Moses could focus on important tasks. 🔹 Lesson: ✅ Train and delegate responsibilities to others instead of doing everything alone. 2. Jesus and the Dis...

The Witnesses of the Resurrection of Jesus

The Witnesses of the Resurrection of Jesus 📖 Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that, He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present." Introduction The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith . Without it, our faith would be meaningless (1 Corinthians 15:14). But how do we know it really happened? Because the resurrected Jesus was seen by many people! Let’s look at the key witnesses of His resurrection. 1. The First Witnesses – The Women at the Tomb 📖 Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-11, Luke 24:1-10, John 20:11-18 🔹 Who saw Him? Mary Magdalene Mary (mother of James) Salome Other women 🔹 What happened? They went to the tomb ...

Understanding the Times: Speeding Up When God Moves

Image
Understanding the Times: Speeding Up When God Moves Key Verse: 1 Chronicles 12:32 – “The sons of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do...” Introduction God’s timing is important in every area of life. Some seasons require waiting , while others require immediate action . The sons of Issachar were wise because they understood the times and responded accordingly. Today, we must learn when to speed up and move forward without delay. 1. Understanding the Times Means Recognizing God’s Timing Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” We must recognize when to act and when to wait. Just as farmers understand when to plant and harvest, we must understand God’s appointed time for action. Example: Noah and the Ark – When God told Noah to build the ark, he acted immediately (Genesis 6:22). If he delayed, he would have missed God's protection. 2. When God Opens a Door, Move...

Fun is Also Spiritual

Fun is Also Spiritual 📖 Key Verse: Proverbs 17:22 – "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Introduction Many people think spirituality is only about prayer, fasting, and serious matters. But God also created joy, laughter, and fun. Fun is not just a worldly pleasure; it is a gift from God that refreshes our hearts and strengthens our faith. 1. God Designed Joy and Celebration Nehemiah 8:10 – "The joy of the Lord is your strength." Throughout the Bible, God encourages His people to celebrate. Jesus attended feasts, weddings, and enjoyed fellowship with His disciples (John 2:1-11). 2. Laughter and Fun Bring Healing Proverbs 17:22 – A joyful heart is healing for the body and soul. Laughter reduces stress, improves health, and builds strong relationships. God wants us to have a joyful spirit because it reflects His goodness. 3. True Fun Comes from a Pure Heart Fun should honor God, not lead to sin (1 Corinthi...

Love is more than just words;

 L ove is more than just words; it’s shown through actions. This truth is reflected throughout the Bible, especially in how God, as our Father, demonstrates His love through Jesus Christ. Biblical Perspective: Love in Action Romans 5:8 – "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God didn’t just say He loved us—He proved it by sending Jesus to die for us. True love is sacrificial and demonstrated through action. 1 John 3:18 – "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." Love isn’t just about what we say—it’s about what we do . Real love is lived out in truth and action. John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son..." Love gives, sacrifices, and puts others first. Fatherly Love in Action A father’s love isn’t just about saying “I love you” but proving it through: Time – Being present for his child...

Revelation 2:4 (KJV):

Image
  Revelation 2:4 (KJV): "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." Context of Revelation 2:4 This verse is part of Jesus' message to the church in Ephesus , recorded in Revelation 2:1-7 . Jesus commends the Ephesians for their hard work, perseverance, and resistance to false teachings. However, He rebukes them for losing their first love —their initial devotion and passion for Him. Meaning of "First Love" A Loss of Passion for Christ – The Ephesians were doctrinally sound and active in ministry, but their love for Jesus had grown cold. Relationship Over Routine – They were busy doing good works but had forgotten their deep, personal love for God. A Warning for All Believers – It is possible to be outwardly faithful while drifting inwardly from God. How to Restore the First Love (Revelation 2:5) In the next verse, Jesus gives the solution: "Remember" – Reflect on the love and devotion you once...

The Parable of the Prodigal Son

Image
 The Parable of the Prodigal Son is found in Luke 15:11-32 . It is one of the most well-known parables of Jesus, illustrating God's grace, forgiveness, and love for sinners who repent. Summary of the Parable 1. The Younger Son’s Rebellion (Luke 15:11-16) A father has two sons. The younger son demands his share of the inheritance early. He leaves home and squanders all his wealth in reckless living. After spending everything, a famine strikes, and he is left in desperate poverty. He takes a humiliating job feeding pigs (unclean animals for Jews) and realizes his mistake. 2. The Son’s Repentance and Return (Luke 15:17-21) He comes to his senses and decides to return home, planning to ask his father to take him back as a servant. As he approaches, his father runs to him , embraces him, and welcomes him back with love. The son confesses his sin, but the father does not let him finish his speech. 3. The Father’s Forgiveness and Celebration (Luke 15:22-24) The father r...
