YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH 📖 Text: Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Introduction Salt is one of the most common substances on earth, yet Jesus used it to describe His followers. Salt may look small and ordinary, but its impact is powerful. Just like salt cannot be ignored, a true believer cannot live a silent, powerless, compromise-filled life. Jesus calls us not to just exist but to influence , preserve , and transform the world. 1.
