A Family That Listens to God and to Each Other Main Text: James 1:19 “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” Introduction Personal Story Recently, in my own family, I faced a situation that made me reflect deeply. I felt that my wife was being influenced by other voices—opinions from outside—and in my heart, I started thinking, “Why is she not listening to God?” At first, I was ready to react. I felt the urge to correct, to speak quickly, and to prove my point. But the Holy Spirit reminded me of James 1:19: 👉 Be quick to listen, slow to speak.
