“Unless the Lord Builds…” Text: Psalm 127:1–5 Introduction: We live in a world that glorifies hard work , self-reliance , and ambition . While diligence is good, Psalm 127 reminds us that human effort without God's involvement is ultimately in vain . Whether we’re building a business, a family, or a future, we must build with God, not just for God . Main Points: 1. God is the Foundation of All Fruitful Labor (v.1) "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain..." Building the house = could mean physical home, family, career, or ministry. God is not against work—but He wants us to work with Him , not without Him. Even watchmen , who stay up all night for protection, are ineffective if the Lord is not guarding the city.
