The Year of the Holy Spirit Introduction Good morning, beloved! Today, as we embark on what we will call The Year of the Holy Spirit , we open our hearts to embrace the work, presence, and power of the Spirit of God in our lives. This is a season of renewal, empowerment, and transformation. It is a time to seek a deeper understanding of who the Holy Spirit is and how He moves in and through us. Our guiding scripture for this year is Zechariah 4:6: “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. Let us journey together to explore five key themes that will guide us this year: Renewal, Empowerment, Unity, Mission, and Sanctification. 1. Renewal Scripture: Psalm 51:10-12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
