“GOD QUALIFIES THE CALLED” INTRODUCTION People often think God only uses the strong, the talented, and the perfect. But Scripture shows the opposite: God chooses ordinary, weak, broken people so His glory is revealed. God doesn’t look at ability — He looks at availability. POINT 1: GOD TURNS THE ORDINARY INTO EXTRAORDINARY 1. Moses — A man who stuttered He said, “Lord, I am slow of speech” (Exodus 4:10). Yet God made him the leader who brought Israel out of Egypt. → He wasn’t qualified; God qualified him. 2. David — A simple shepherd boy He wasn’t even invited to the anointing ceremony. God made him the greatest king of Israel. → God does not choose by appearance, but by the heart. POINT 2: GOD MAKES THE WEAK STRONG 1. Gideon — The weakest in the weakest clan He said, “My clan is the weakest… and I am the least” (Judges 6:15). “THE TEST IS FOR YOUR TESTIMONY” INTRODUCTION Every believer faces tests. Tests feel painful, but they are the places where God builds testimonies. Bible heroes became heroes because of their tests. Key Verse: Revelation 12:11 — We overcome… by the word of our testimony. POINT 1: TESTS ARE NOT TO DESTROY YOU, BUT TO DEVELOP YOU Scriptures: James 1:2–4, Romans 5:3–4 Bible Heroes: 1. Joseph (Genesis 37–50) Tested by betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and prison. But the test prepared him to rule Egypt. His testimony saved nations. 2. David (1 Samuel 16–17) Tested by lions, bears, and later, Goliath. Without earlier tests, he could not face giants. Test produced courage. 3. Daniel (Daniel 1–6) Tested in Babylon. Tested in the lion’s den. His testimony showed that God rules over kings. Application: Your test is training ground for your calling. Everything points to Jesus Christ . MAIN POINT 1: CREATION — GOD’S PERFECT PLAN Text: Genesis 1–2 Key Idea: God created a perfect world and made humans in His image. Teaching Points: God is the source of life, identity, and purpose. Man was created to walk with God, rule, and enjoy His presence. Application: Your life has purpose because you come from God. MAIN POINT 2: THE FALL — THE PROBLEM OF SIN Text: Genesis 3 Key Idea: Sin broke our relationship with God. Teaching Points: Disobedience brings death and separation. No human effort can fix sin. God immediately promised a Savior (Genesis 3:15). Application: Every problem in the world begins with sin, and every solution begins with God.
