The Power of the Word 📖 Text: Genesis 1:1–3 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. The Spirit of God hovered over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light!’ and there was light.” I. Introduction: The Word that Created All Things In the beginning, before anything existed—before light, land, or life— God’s Word was the creative force that brought everything into being. The entire universe was shaped by His spoken Word. Where there was formlessness , His Word brought structure . Where there was emptiness , His Word brought life .
