Time and Labour – God’s Gift and Our Responsibility Main Text: Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." 1. Time Is a Gift from God Every person on earth receives the same amount of time each day— 24 hours . The rich cannot buy more time. The poor cannot borrow tomorrow. Time is God’s gift and God’s test . Psalm 90:12 says: "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." When we understand time correctly, we become wise. Many people pray for blessings , but they waste the time that produces those blessings. God gives: Time Opportunities Seasons But it is our responsibility to use them wisely . 2. Labour Is God’s Design for Humanity Work was not created after sin. Work existed before the fall .
