Russia, China, and North Korea

Biblical prophecy, Christian eschatology, and how some interpret Russia, China, and North Korea in the light of the “kings of the east.” 📖 The Biblical Text The phrase “ kings of the east ” comes from: Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.” This is part of the Bowl Judgments (end-time plagues before Christ’s return). The “drying of the Euphrates” is seen as clearing the path for massive armies to advance toward Armageddon (Revelation 16:16). 🕊 Main Eschatological Views 1. Futurist (common evangelical view) The “kings of the east” are interpreted as a coalition of Asian powers who will march westward into the Middle East in the final war before Christ’s return.   When We Hesitate, God Raises Another Introduction Two powerful stories from Scripture: One from the Old Testament — the story of Deborah, Barak, and Jael in Judges 4. And one from the New Testament — Jesus’ parable of the Talents in Matthew 25. Both teach us the same truth: God entrusts us with opportunities, but if we hesitate in obedience, He can raise up another person to fulfill His purpose. 1.
