“THE TEST IS FOR YOUR TESTIMONY”

INTRODUCTION

  • Every believer faces tests.

  • Tests feel painful, but they are the places where God builds testimonies.

  • Bible heroes became heroes because of their tests.

Key Verse: Revelation 12:11 — We overcome… by the word of our testimony.

POINT 1: TESTS ARE NOT TO DESTROY YOU, BUT TO DEVELOP YOU

Scriptures: James 1:2–4, Romans 5:3–4

Bible Heroes:

1. Joseph (Genesis 37–50)

  • Tested by betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and prison.

  • But the test prepared him to rule Egypt.

  • His testimony saved nations.

2. David (1 Samuel 16–17)

  • Tested by lions, bears, and later, Goliath.

  • Without earlier tests, he could not face giants.

  • Test produced courage.

3. Daniel (Daniel 1–6)

  • Tested in Babylon.

  • Tested in the lion’s den.

  • His testimony showed that God rules over kings.

Application:
Your test is training ground for your calling.

POINT 2: GOD ALLOWS TESTS TO SHOW HIS FAITHFULNESS

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 10:13, Psalm 34:19**

Bible Heroes:

1. Abraham (Genesis 22)

  • Tested by God to sacrifice Isaac.

  • When he obeyed, God provided a ram.

  • His test became a testimony of Jehovah Jireh.

2. Moses (Exodus 14)

  • Stuck between the Red Sea & Pharaoh.

  • God opened a path where there was no path.

  • Test revealed God’s power to deliver.

3. Elijah (1 Kings 17–18)

  • Tested during famine.

  • Ravens fed him.

  • Fire fell on Mount Carmel.

  • God showed His faithfulness before all Israel.

Application:
Your test is an opportunity for God to reveal His faithfulness to you and others.

POINT 3: EVERY TEST PRODUCES A TESTIMONY

Scriptures: Genesis 50:20, Romans 8:28**

Bible Heroes:

1. Job (Job 1–42)

  • Tested by loss, sickness, and pain.

  • Ended with double blessing and deeper revelation of God.

  • His story gives strength to millions.

2. Paul (Acts 16)

  • Tested in prison.

  • Prison became a platform for praise.

  • Chains broke, jailer saved.

  • Test turned into powerful testimony.

3. Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego (Daniel 3)

  • Tested by the fiery furnace.

  • Fire did not burn them.

  • Their testimony transformed the king’s decree.

Application:
What you survive becomes your message.

POINT 4: YOUR TESTIMONY WILL HELP SOMEONE ELSE

Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 1:3–4**

Bible Heroes:

1. Peter (Luke 22, John 21, Acts 2)

  • Tested by failure when he denied Jesus.

  • Restored by grace.

  • His testimony empowered him to preach Pentecost.

2. Hannah (1 Samuel 1–2)

  • Tested by barrenness.

  • Her testimony of answered prayer blessed all Israel through Samuel.

3. The Woman with the Issue of Blood (Mark 5)

  • Tested for 12 years.

  • Her testimony still encourages people to touch Jesus by faith.

Application:
Your pain becomes someone’s healing.
Your testimony becomes someone’s hope.

CONCLUSION

  • Tests are temporary.

  • Testimonies last forever.

  • Every Bible hero became a hero through a test.

  • And God is writing your testimony right now.

FINAL DECLARATION:

“My test will become my testimony. My trial will become my triumph. My story will bring God glory.”

  • अकाल में परीक्षा; कौओं से भोजन मिला।

  • कर्मेल पहाड़ पर आग उतरी।

  • परीक्षा ने परमेश्वर की महिमा को उजागर किया।

तुम्हारी परीक्षा — परमेश्वर की विश्वासयोग्यता का मंच बनती है।

बिंदु 3: हर परीक्षा एक बड़ी गवाही लेकर आती है

वचन: उत्पत्ति 50:20, रोमियों 8:28**

1. अय्यूब (अय्यूब 1–42)

  • सब खोया, बीमारी, दर्द।

  • पर अंत में दोहरा आशीर्वाद मिला।

  • उसकी गवाही आज भी विश्वास बढ़ाती है।

2. पौलुस (प्रेरितों 16)

  • जेल, जंजीरें, मारपीट।

  • जेल ही गवाही का मंच बना — गीत गाए, कांप आया, जेलर बचा!

  • परीक्षा ने सुसमाचार को आगे बढ़ाया।

  • आग की भट्टी — सबसे बड़ी परीक्षा।

  • आग ने उन्हें जला नहीं पाया।

  • उनकी गवाही से राजा ने परमेश्वर की घोषणा की।

जिससे तुम बचते हो — वही तुम्हारी गवाही बनती है।

बिंदु 4: तुम्हारी गवाही किसी और की मदद बनेगी

1. पतरस (लूका 22, यूहन्ना 21, प्रेरितों के काम 2)

  • असफलता की परीक्षा — यीशु का इन्कार।

  • पुनर्स्थापना की गवाही — “मेरी भेड़ों को चराना।”

  • उसकी गवाही ने पिन्तेकुस्त में हज़ारों को छुड़ाया।

2. हन्ना (1 शमूएल 1–2)

  • बांझपन की परीक्षा।

  • गवाही: परमेश्वर ने उसकी सुन ली — शमूएल जन्मा।

  • उसकी कहानी आज भी प्रार्थना को प्रेरित करती है।

3. लहू बहने वाली स्त्री (मरकुस 5)

  • 12 साल की परीक्षा।

  • यीशु ने छूते ही चंगा कर दिया।

  • उसकी गवाही आज भी विश्वास जगाती है।

व्यवहारिक सीख:
तुम्हारी पीड़ा किसी और की चंगाई बनेगी।
तुम्हारी गवाही किसी और की आशा बनेगी।

समापन

  • परीक्षा थोड़े समय की है।

  • पर गवाही जीवनभर रहती है।

  • हर बाइबल हीरो परीक्षा से गुज़र कर गवाही बना।

  • परमेश्वर इस समय तुम्हारी गवाही लिख रहा है।

अंतिम घोषणा:

“मेरी परीक्षा मेरी गवाही बनेगी। मेरे संघर्ष से मेरी सफलता निकलेगी। मेरा जीवन परमेश्वर की महिमा दिखाएगा।”
