Love is more than just words;

 Love is more than just words; it’s shown through actions. This truth is reflected throughout the Bible, especially in how God, as our Father, demonstrates His love through Jesus Christ.

Biblical Perspective: Love in Action

  1. Romans 5:8"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

    • God didn’t just say He loved us—He proved it by sending Jesus to die for us. True love is sacrificial and demonstrated through action.
  2. 1 John 3:18"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

    • Love isn’t just about what we say—it’s about what we do. Real love is lived out in truth and action.
  3. John 3:16"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son..."

    • Love gives, sacrifices, and puts others first.

Fatherly Love in Action

A father’s love isn’t just about saying “I love you” but proving it through:

  • Time – Being present for his children.
  • Guidance – Teaching them right from wrong.
  • Sacrifice – Providing and protecting.
  • Patience & Forgiveness – Just as God forgives us, a father should extend grace to his children.

Love is a verb. It requires action, commitment, and selflessness. Words are important, but love is truly seen in how we treat others.
