When we walk in God's favor

When we walk in God's favor, even the worst situations become opportunities for His glory and our growth.

Yesterday, my daughter and I planned to pick up my wife and travel down to Naharlagun. Before we started, I noticed that our camper van's fuel tank was almost empty—only about 10% was left. I immediately remembered Jehovah Jireh, our God who provides.

We searched for fuel at several petrol pumps, but every one of them was closed. Even though we could not find fuel, we chose to trust God and continued our journey in faith.

Along the way, we unexpectedly met my brother-in-law. We explained our situation, and he gladly gave us 20 liters of fuel. When we offered to pay him, he refused to accept any payment. At that moment, my daughter smiled and said, "This is God's provision." We knew that this was not a coincidence—it was Jehovah Jireh providing exactly what we needed at exactly the right time.

When we reached Possa, we discovered that the road was closed because of a landslide. We had to turn back to Yazali, where we stopped for breakfast. After we finished eating, a policeman came and informed us that the road had just been reopened.

As soon as we crossed the blocked area, another massive landslide occurred behind us. The road remained closed for the rest of the day. We realized that God's timing had protected us. If we had arrived a little earlier or a little later, we could have been caught in a dangerous situation.

In the evening, after completing our work, we prepared to return home. Many people told us, "You can't go back today. It's impossible. The whole mountain has come down, and there is no way the road will be cleared." Humanly speaking, it seemed impossible.

But we chose to believe that our God is the God of miracles. We prayed, trusted Him, and started our journey anyway.

When we reached the same blocked area, we were amazed to find that the road had been cleared and opened again. We crossed safely and thanked God for His faithfulness.

Looking back on the entire day, we can clearly see God's hand in every detail. He provided fuel when we had almost none. He delayed us at just the right time so we avoided danger. He opened the road when everyone said it was impossible. What looked like obstacles became testimonies of His faithfulness.

This experience reminded us that God's favor doesn't mean we won't face obstacles. It means God goes before us, provides what we need, protects us from dangers we cannot see, and makes a way where there seems to be no way.

"When we walk in God's favor, even the worst situations become opportunities for His glory and our growth."

Jehovah Jireh is still our Provider. Jehovah Shammah is still with us. And the God of miracles is still working today. To Him be all the glory!
