God Is Still With You

God Is Still With You

Scripture: Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”

Introduction:

Many people carry the silent burden of shame, guilt, or failure. Whether it’s a broken relationship, a failed business, or a moral fall, the enemy whispers, “God has left you.” But God’s Word speaks louder: “I will be with you.”

1. God Never Promised a Life Without Trouble

Isaiah 43:2 doesn’t say “if” you pass through the waters—it says “when.” Life will bring floods, fires, and valleys. But those moments do not mean abandonment. They are seasons of testing, not signs of rejection.

2. God’s Presence Is Strongest in the Valley

In bankruptcy, in betrayal, in failure—God is not waiting for you on the other side. He is right there, walking through the storm with you. Remember Daniel in the lion’s den, the three men in the fire—God showed up in the crisis.

3. Failure Doesn’t Disqualify You From God’s Love

Peter denied Jesus, yet Jesus restored him and used him powerfully. God’s grace isn’t based on your performance. It’s based on His faithfulness.

Conclusion:

So if you're walking through deep waters right now, take heart: God is still with you. You’re not alone. He hasn’t left you. He’s walking with you, working through the pain, and writing a story of redemption.

Call to Action:

Today, let go of shame and hold on to His promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Trust that His presence is your greatest protection—even in the fire.
