 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.”

1. God Designed Family with a Divine Purpose

Proverbs 16:4 (KJV)

“The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.”

From the beginning, God created the family — Adam and Eve, then their children — as the foundation of society and faith.

Every family is part of God’s plan to reveal His love, authority, and unity on earth.

Genesis 2:18 (KJV)

“And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”

God created marriage and family not just for companionship, but for purpose — to walk together in His will.

2. God Directs the Family’s Path

Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

When a family learns to trust God and seek His guidance, He leads them in the right direction — in decisions, relationships, and future plans.

Prayer, unity, and faith invite His hand to guide the home.

Proverbs 20:24 (KJV)

 “Man’s goings are of the Lord; how can a man then understand his own way?”

Even when a family doesn’t understand why certain things happen, they can rest knowing that God orders their steps for good.

3. Wisdom Builds the Family

“Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

A wise family is built not on wealth or worldly success, but on godly understanding.

Wisdom comes from reading God’s Word together, seeking peace, and walking in love.

James 3:17 (KJV)

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits…”

Such wisdom keeps the family united and strong in every season.

4. Unity and Love Reflect God’s Heart**

Proverbs 17:17 (KJV)

“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

Family love is meant to be steadfast — supporting one another in every circumstance.

When family members forgive quickly and love deeply, they display the heart of Christ.

Colossians 3:13–14 (KJV)

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another… even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”

Love is the bond that keeps every family rooted in God’s purpose.

5. The Family that Fears the Lord is Blessed

“In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.”

When parents walk in reverence to God, their children find safety and direction.

The fear of the Lord brings blessing, protection, and stability to the home.

Psalm 128:1–3 (KJV)

“Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”

Such a home becomes a place of peace, fruitfulness, and joy.

Conclusion:

Every family has a divine purpose — to glorify God, to grow in wisdom, and to pass on faith to the next generation.

When a family builds its foundation on God’s Word, trusts His direction, and walks in love, nothing can shake its purpose.

आदि से ही परमेश्वर ने परिवार की रचना की — आदम और हव्वा, फिर उनके बच्चे — ताकि समाज और विश्वास की नींव रखी जाए।
हर परिवार परमेश्वर की योजना का एक भाग है, जिससे वह अपनी प्रेम, अधिकार, और एकता को पृथ्वी पर प्रकट करता है।

2. परमेश्वर परिवार के मार्ग का निर्देशन करता है

“तू सम्पूर्ण मन से यहोवा पर भरोसा रखना, और अपनी समझ का सहारा न लेना;
अपनी सब चालों में उसी को स्मरण कर, तब वह तेरे मार्ग सीधे करेगा।”

जब एक परिवार परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखता है और उसकी अगुवाई चाहता है, तब वह उन्हें हर निर्णय, हर संबंध और हर भविष्य की दिशा में सही मार्ग दिखाता है।
प्रार्थना, एकता और विश्वास — ये परमेश्वर के हाथ को घर की अगुवाई के लिए आमंत्रित करते हैं।

“मनुष्य के कदम यहोवा की ओर से स्थिर किए जाते हैं; फिर मनुष्य अपनी चाल कैसे समझ सकता है?”

भले ही परिवार को कभी यह समझ न आए कि कुछ बातें क्यों हो रही हैं, पर वे निश्चिन्त रह सकते हैं कि परमेश्वर उनकी भलाई के लिये कदम बढ़ा रहा है।

और ज्ञान से उसके कोठे सब प्रकार के अनमोल और मनोहर धन से भर जाते हैं।”

एक बुद्धिमान परिवार धन या संसारिक सफलता पर नहीं, बल्कि परमेश्वर की समझ पर खड़ा होता है।
बुद्धि तब आती है जब परिवार एक साथ परमेश्वर के वचन को पढ़ता है, मेल-मिलाप ढूँढ़ता है, और प्रेम में चलता है।

याकूब 3:17 (HHBD)
“पर जो ज्ञान ऊपर से आता है, वह तो पहिले तो पवित्र होता है, फिर मेल करवानेवाला, कोमल, विनीत, दयालु और भले फल से भरपूर…”

ऐसी स्वर्गीय बुद्धि परिवार को हर मौसम में एकता और दृढ़ता देती है।

4. एकता और प्रेम परमेश्वर के हृदय को प्रकट करते हैं

“मित्र सब समय प्रेम रखता है, और विपत्ति के लिये भाई उत्पन्न होता है।”

परिवार का प्रेम हर परिस्थिति में अटल रहना चाहिए — एक-दूसरे का साथ देना और सहारा बनना।
जब परिवार के सदस्य जल्दी क्षमा करते हैं और गहराई से प्रेम करते हैं, तो वे मसीह का हृदय दिखाते हैं।

प्रेम ही वह बंधन है जो हर परिवार को परमेश्वर के उद्देश्य में स्थिर रखता है।

“यहोवा का भय मानने वाले में दृढ़ भरोसा होता है, और उसके पुत्रों के लिये शरणस्थान होता है।”

जब माता-पिता परमेश्वर का भय मानकर चलते हैं, तब उनके बच्चे सुरक्षित और मार्गदर्शित रहते हैं।
यहोवा का भय घर में आशीष, सुरक्षा, और स्थिरता लाता है।

“धन्य है हर एक जो यहोवा का भय मानता है, और उसकी राहों पर चलता है।
क्योंकि तू अपने हाथों के परिश्रम का फल खाएगा; तू सुखी रहेगा, और तेरा भला होगा।

ऐसा घर शान्ति, फलदायी जीवन, और आनंद का स्थान बन जाता है।

निष्कर्ष:

हर परिवार का एक दिव्य उद्देश्य है — परमेश्वर की महिमा करना, ज्ञान में बढ़ना, और विश्वास को अगली पीढ़ी तक पहुँचाना।
जब परिवार अपनी नींव परमेश्वर के वचन पर रखता है, उसकी दिशा पर भरोसा करता है, और प्रेम में चलता है, तो कोई भी परिस्थिति उसके उद्देश्य को नहीं डिगा सकती।
