E. The ministry of Holy Spirit: The Giver of Spiritual Gifts

(1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

We find the Holy Trinity working together from Genesis to Revelation. So it is no surprise to find the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit working together in the church, the body of Christ (vv. 12-31), so that the whole body of Christ may profit spiritually in every good thing (v.7). The apostle Paul would not have us be ignorant of how the Trinity is involved in giving and using spiritual gifts for the edifying of the church;

1)    The Holy Spirit. “There are diversities [differences], of gifts, but the same Spirit” (v.4). We are told to earnestly desire the best gifts (v.31), especially the gift of prophesy (1 Corinthians 14:1). “He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church may chose a special (1 Corinthian 14:4). You may chose a special gifts and desire it, pray for it, yet not receive it, because the Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts according to His sovereign will, and not always according to your wishes. “But one and the same Spirit works all these things [spiritual gifts], distributing to each one individually as He wills” (v.11).

2)    The Lord Jesus Christ. “There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord” (v.5). Paul says there are varieties of ministries in the church, and the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts according to His sovereign will, enabling all to perform their ministries in the power of the Holy Spirit, under the lordship of Christ, because Christ is the head of the church, the body of Christ (Colossians 1:18, 19)

3)    God the Father. “And there are diversities of activities, but the same God who works in all” (v.6). In the church there are varieties of operations; God the Father, working with God the Holy Spirit and God the Son, enables those who have been given spiritual gifts to exercise them to honour and glory of the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit.

            “But the manifestation of the Holy Spirit is given to each one [in the body of Christ, the church] for the profit of all” (v.7). Spiritual gifts, ministries, and operations are not bestowed on person in order to attract attention to that person. They are given to attract sinners to Christ and bless the whole body of Christ.

            Every born- again child of God should have the attitude of John the Baptist. When asked, “Who are you?” he answered, “I am the ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness; “Make straight way of the Lord” ‘ “(John 1:22, 23). In John’s humble opinion he was not important, he was just the voice one, he was one of many who helped prepare for the first coming of Christ. John also said of Jesus, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

            Do you have a decreasing or expanding ego? The nearer you are to God, the smaller the ego; the farther you get from God, the bigger the ego. John delighted in exalting Christ, not himself. God the Father has exalted God the Son, and given Him a name above all names. At the name of the Son of God (not a servant of God) every knee in the heaven, on earth, and in hell will bend; and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord (Philippian 2: 1-11)

            The apostle Paul lists nine spiritual gifts:

1)    the word of wisdom (v.8)

2)    the Word of knowledge (v.8)

3)    faith (v.9)

4)    gift of healing (v.9)

5)    the working of miracles (v.10)

6)    prophecy (v.10)

7)    discerning of spirits (v.10)

8)    different kind of tongues (v.10)

9)    interpretation of tongues (v.10)

पवित्र आत्मा का कार्य: आध्यात्मिक वरदान का दाता

(1 कुरिन्थियों 12:1-31)

हम उत्पत्ति से लेकर प्रकाशितवाक्य तक एक साथ काम करते हुए पवित्र त्रिएक परमेश्वर पाते हैं। इसलिए पिता, पुत्र और पवित्र आत्मा को कलिसिया में एक साथ काम करते हुए पाया जाना कोई आश्चर्य की बात नहीं है, मसीह का साथ (vv.12-31) ताकि मसीह का पूरा शरीर आत्मिक रूप से हर अच्छी चीज़ में लाभान्वित हो सके (v.7) । प्रेरित पौलुस भी हमें इस बात से अनभिज्ञ नहीं होगा कि त्रिएक परमेश्वर कलिसिया के संपादन के लिए आत्मिक वरदान देने और उसका उपयोग करने में कैसे शामिल है;

1). पवित्र आत्मा। " इसमें विविधताएं [अंतर] के वरदान हैं, लेकिन एक ही आत्मा" (v.4) । हमें ईमानदारी से सबसे अच्छे वरदान  की इच्छा बताई जाती है (v.31), विशेष रूप से भविष्यद्वाणी के वरदान (1 कुरिन्थियों 14: 1) । "वह जो अन्य भाषा में बोलता है वह खुद को उन्नति करता है, लेकिन वह जो भविष्यवाणी करता है कि कलिसिया को उन्नति करता है (1 कुरिन्थियों 14: 4)  वह एक विशेष  को चुन सकता है। आप एक विशेष वरदान चुन सकते हैं और इसकी इच्छा कर सकते हैं, इसके लिए प्रार्थना कर सकते हैं, फिर भी इसे प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते, क्योंकि पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संप्रभु इच्छा के अनुसार, और हमेशा अपनी इच्छाओं के अनुसार आध्यात्मिक वरदान नहीं देता है। "लेकिन एक और एक ही आत्मा इन सभी चीजों को [आध्यात्मिक वरदान] काम करता है, हर एक को व्यक्तिगत रूप से वह इच्छानुसार वितरित करता है" (v.11) ।

2). प्रभु यीशु मसीह। " यहाँ पर सेवकाई के मतभेद हैं, लेकिन एक ही परमेश्वर हैं" (v.5) । पौलुस का कहना है कि कलिसिया में सेवकाई की काई प्रकार हैं, और पवित्र आत्मा अपनी संप्रभु इच्छा के अनुसार आध्यात्मिक वरदान देता है, जो सभी को मसीह के आधिपत्य के तहत, पवित्र आत्मा की शक्ति में अपने सेवकाई का प्रदर्शन करने में सक्षम बनाता है, क्योंकि मसीह प्रमुख है। कलिसिया, मसीह का शरीर (कुलुस्सियों 1:18, 19) ।

3). पिता परमेश्वर। "और गतिविधियों की विविधताएं हैं, लेकिन वही परमेश्वर जो सभी में काम करता है" (v.6) । कलिसिया में संचालन की किस्में हैं; पिता परमेश्वर, प्रभु पवित्र आत्मा के साथ काम करते हुए, उन लोगों को सक्षम बनाता है जिन्हें आध्यात्मिक वरदान दिए गए हैं ताकि वे पिता, पुत्र और पवित्र आत्मा के सम्मान और महिमा के लिए व्यायाम कर सकें।

"लेकिन सभी के लाभ के लिए पवित्र आत्मा की अभिव्यक्ति प्रत्येक को [मसीह के मंडली में, कलिसिया में] दी गई है" (v.7) । उस व्यक्ति का ध्यान आकर्षित करने के लिए आध्यात्मिक वरदान, सेवकाई और कार्यों को किसी व्यक्ति पर नहीं दिया जाता है। उन्हें मसीह के लिए पापियों को आकर्षित करने और मसीह के पूरे मंडली को आशीर्वाद देने के लिए दिया जाता है। प्रत्येक नये सिरे से जन्म लेने वाले परमेश्वर के बच्चे को यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा का दृष्टिकोण होना चाहिए। जब पूछा गया, "आप कौन हैं?" उसने उत्तर दिया, '' मैं जंगल में एक के चिल्लाता हुआ आवाज हूं; "प्रभु का रास्ता सीधा बनाओ" (यूहन्ना 1:22, 23) । यूहन्ना की विनम्र राय में वह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं था, वह सिर्फ एक आवाज था, वह कई लोगों में से एक था जिसने मसीह के पहले आगमन की तैयारी में मदद की। यूहन्ना ने येसु के बारे में भी कहा, "अवश्य है कि वह बढ़े और में घटू" (यूहन्ना 3:30) ।

क्या आपके अहंकार में कमी आयी है या बढ़ोतरी? आप परमेश्वर के जितना समीप हो, अहंकार उतना छोटा होगा; आप परमेश्वर से जितना दूर होंगे, उतना ही बड़ा अहंकार होगा। यूहन्ना स्वयं को नहीं, मसीह को प्रसन्न करने में प्रसन्न था। पिता परमेश्वर ने परमेश्वर पुत्र को उच्चीकृत किया है, और उसे सभी नामों से ऊँचा एक नाम दिया है। परमेश्वर के पुत्र के नाम पर (परमेश्वर का सेवक नहीं) स्वर्ग में, पृथ्वी पर और नरक में हर घुटने टिकेंगे; और हर जीभ कबूल करेगी कि यीशु मसीह प्रभु है (फिलिप्पियन 2: 1-11)

प्रेरित पौलुस नौ आत्मिक वरदानो की सूची देता है:

1) बुद्धि का शब्द (v.8)

2) ज्ञान का शब्द (v.8)

3) विश्वास (v.9)

4) चंगा करने का वरदान (v.9)

5) चमत्कार का काम (v.10)

6) भविष्यवाणी (v.10)

7) आत्माओं से परख (v.10)

8) विभिन्न प्रकार की भाषा (v.10)

9) भाषाएँ की अर्थ बनता है (v.10)
