C. What Is God's Purpose for Mankind?

(Deuteronomy 6:5)

God’s eternal purposes for His creatures are manifold. Since the fall of man, His redemptive purposes are accomplished primarily in those who have been saved. His purpose for man can seen often by biblically commanded duties:

1). Love God. Verse 5 sums up man’s duty to God in words given the highest reverence through the ages in Scripture: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matt.22:37).

2). Love one another. Christ endorsed verse 5 as the great commandment of man’s duty to God. He also showed that this first great commandment implied a second: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt.22:39; Lev.19:18). This was not a new purpose in the mind of God for mankind, since He had already given the Ten Commandments on two tablets of stone (Deut.5:22). While commandments one through four stood for man’s duties toward God, commandments five through ten stood for man’s duties to his fellowman.

                We are also to

i.                                  Have joy. The psalmist said, “In Your presence is fullness of joy” (Ps.16:11). Christ wished for His disciples “that your joy may be full” (John.16:24). This joy, however, comes from being in God’s place of blessing and in doing His will” (Ps.40:8).

ii.                                            Glorify God. “And you shall glorify me” (Ps.50:15).

iii.                                     Worship Him in holiness. “All nations… shall come and worship before you” (Ps.86:9), worship incorporates adoration, submission, sincere praise, and a concurrence of the heart, soul, and mind of the One being worshiped.

iv.                             Subdue the earth. God blessed them, and God said…. Fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish…. And God said, see I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food” (Gen.1:28,29).

 v.                             Love and honor the Son as the Father. “That all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father” (John.5:23). “Be filled with the Spirit” (Eph.5:18).

C. मानव जाति के लिए परमेश्‍वर का उद्देश्य क्या है?

परमेश्‍वर के जीवों के लिए अनन्त उद्देश्य कई गुना हैं। मनुष्य के गिरने के बाद से, उनके छुटकारे के उद्देश्य मुख्य रूप से उन लोगों में पूरे किए जाते हैं जिन्हें बचा लिया गया है। मनुष्य के लिए उसका उद्देश्य अक्सर बाइबल के अनुसार के कर्तव्यों द्वारा देखा जा सकता है:

1)। परमेश्‍वर से प्रेम करो। श्लोक 5 पवित्रशास्त्र में युगों के माध्यम से सर्वोच्च श्रद्धा को दिए गए शब्दों में परमेश्‍वर के प्रति मनुष्य के कर्तव्य को दर्शाता है: “तुम अपने परमेश्‍वर को अपने हृदय से, अपनी समस्त आत्मा के साथ, और अपने सभी मन से प्रेम करोगे” (मत्ती 22:37)।

2)। एक दूसरे से प्रेम करो। मसीह ने परमेश्वर को मनुष्य के कर्तव्य की महान आज्ञा के रूप में 5 श्लोक का समर्थन किया। उन्होंने यह भी दिखाया कि इस पहले महान आदेश ने एक दूसरे को निहित किया: "अपने पड़ोसी को अपने समान प्रेम करो " (मत्ती 22:39; Lev.19:18)। यह मानव जाति के लिए परमेश्‍वर के मन में एक नया उद्देश्य नहीं था, क्योंकि उसने पहले ही पत्थर की दो शिला पर दस आज्ञाएँ दी थीं (Deut.5: 22)। जबकि चार के माध्यम से एक आज्ञा परमेश्वर के प्रति मनुष्य के कर्तव्यों के लिए खड़ा था, दस के माध्यम से पांच आज्ञाएँ अपने साथी के लिए मनुष्य के कर्तव्यों के लिए खड़ा था।

हमें भी करना है

i. आनंद लो। भजनहार ने कहा, "तुम्हारी उपस्थिति आनंद से परिपूर्ण है" (भजन १६: ११)। मसीह ने अपने शिष्यों के लिए कामना की “कि तुम्हारा आनन्द पूर्ण हो” (यूहन्ना १६: २४)। हालाँकि, यह खुशी परमेश्वर के आशीर्वाद के स्थान पर होने और उनकी इच्छा को पूरा करने से आती है। (Ps.40: 8)।

ii. परमेश्वर की महिमा करो। "और तुम मेरी बड़ाई करोगे" (Ps.50:15)।

iii। पवित्रता में उसकी आराधना करो। "सभी देश ... आपके सामने आएंगे और आराधना करेंगे" (भजन )६: ९), आराधना        में  समर्पण, सच्ची प्रशंसा और हृदय, आत्मा और मन की आराधना शामिल है।

iv। पृथ्वी को वश में करो। परमेश्वर ने उन्हें आशीर्वाद दिया, और परमेश्वर ने कहा…। पृथ्वी को भरें और उसे वश में करें; मछली पर प्रभुत्व है ...। और परमेश्वर ने कहा, देखो मैंने तुम्हें हर वह जड़ी-बूटी दी है जो बीज पैदा करती है जो सारी पृथ्वी पर है, और हर पेड़ जिसका फल बीज देता है; आपके लिए यह भोजन के लिए होगा”(Gen.1: 28,29)।

v। पिता के रूप में पुत्र को प्रेम और सम्मान दें। "सभी को पुत्र का सम्मान करना चाहिए, जैसा कि वे पिता का सम्मान करते हैं" (यूहन्ना ५: २३)। "आत्मा से भरे रहो" (Eph. 5: 18)।
