B- FEAR, GODLY (Psalm 33:8)

“Let all the earth fear the Lord”(v.8). All the earth will fear the Lord in His coming kingdom. Till then we thank God for those who fear Him in this sin-sick world (Rom.3:18). Let us remember:

1. ) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of the knowledge and wisdom (Prov.1:7; 15:33).

   2)  The fear of the Lord is godly fear (Heb.12:38)

 3) The fear of the Lord is righteous fear, “He love righteousness” (Ps.33:5)

   4)  The fear of the Lord is holy fear (2Cor.7:1)

   5)  The fear of the Lord is reverential fear (Heb.12:28).

  6) To fear the Lord is to stand in awe of Him. “Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him”

  7) To fear the Lord is to worship Him in spirit and truth (John.4:24).

  8) To fear the Lord is to “serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Heb.12:28)

Godly fear brings joy. The Psalmist said “Rejoice in the Lord, o you righteous!.....Praise the Lord with the harp…Sing to Him a new song” (Ps.33:1-3). Speaking of joy, the apostle John said, “These things we write to you that your joy may be full. This is the message…that God is light” (John.1:4, 5)

Is there godly fear in your heart? To be sure that you have godly fear, examine the following verses in (1John.1:6-10)

1). “If we[who say we are believer’s] say that we have fellowship with Him [the Lord Jesus Christ] and walk in darkness [live in known; unconfessed sin] we are lie and do not practice the truth” (1John 1:6; Acts. 5:1-4)

2). “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another [we have fellowship with God because we are in His light- His righteousness], and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1John1:7; Rev.1:5). Godly fear can be known only by those who have been cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus (1Pet. 1:18, 19).

3). “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, truth is not in us” (1 John. 1:8; Gal.6:7,8).

4). “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1John1:9). To be cleansed by the blood brings the lost or unsaved into a relationship with God the Father. To be cleansed from sins which you commit after you are born into the family of God, you must confess them to our Lord, calling each known sin name. Godly fear will cause you to search your heart every time you go to God in prayer; and if you find any unconfessed sin in your heart, however small, judge it, confess it, and forsake it. Practice 1John.1:9 every day, and thus stay fellowship with the Lord.

5). “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us” (1John.1:10). Godly fear will not let you say, “I have no sin,” or “I cannot sin in the flesh,” or “I have not sinned since the Lord save me.” Yet godly fear can also help you to resist temptation (1Cor.10:13).

“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” (1John.2:1)

ईश्वरीय डर (भजन 33: 8)

" सारी पृत्वी के लोग यहोवा से डरे" (v.8)। सारी पृथ्वी उसके आने वाले राज्य में प्रभु से भयभीत होगी। तब तक हम उन लोगों के लिए परमेश्वर का शुक्रिया अदा करते हैं जो इस पापी दुनिया में उनसे डरते हैं (रोमियो 3:18)। हम इसे याद रखें:

1) यहोवा का भय ज्ञान और बुद्धिमत्ता की शुरुआत है (नीतिवचन 1:7; 15:33)।

2) यहोवा का भय ईश्वरीय भय है (इब्रानियों 12: 38)

3) प्रभु का भय धर्मी है, "वह धार्मिकता से प्रेम करता है" (भजन ३: ५)

4) यहोवा का भय पवित्र भय है (2 कुरिन्थियों 7: 1)

5) यहोवा का भय श्रद्धा का भय है (इब्रानियों 12: 28)।

6) यहोवा से डरने के लिए अपने आप को भयभीत करना है। "चलो दुनिया के सभी निवासियों को विस्मय में खड़ा करते हैं"

7) यहोवा से डरने के लिए आत्मा और सत्य में उनकी आराधना करना है (यूहन्ना 4: 24)।

8) यहोवा से डरने के लिए "परमेश्वर की सेवा श्रद्धा और ईश्वरीय भय के साथ करना है" (इब्रानियों 12: 28)

ईश्वरीय भय आनंद लाता है। भजनहार ने कहा, "प्रभु में आनन्द करो, ओ तुम धर्मी हो! ..... वीणा के साथ यहोवा की स्तुति करो ... उसके लिए एक नया गीत गाओ" (भजन ३: १-३)। आनंद की बात करते हुए, यूहन्ना ने कहा, “ये बातें हम आपको लिखते हैं कि आपका आनन्द पूर्ण हो सकता है। यह संदेश है… कि परमेश्वर प्रकाश है ”( 1 यूहन्ना1: 4, 5)

क्या आपके दिल में ईश्वरीय डर है? यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि आपको ईश्वरीय भय है, निम्नलिखित श्लोकों की जांच करें (1 यूहन्ना 1: 6-10)

1)। "अगर हम [जो कहते हैं कि हम विश्वासी हैं] कहते हैं कि हमारे पास उनके साथ  है [प्रभु यीशु मसीह] और अंधेरे में चलते हैं [ज्ञात में रहते हैं; अपुष्ट पाप] हम झूठ हैं और सत्य का अभ्यास नहीं करते हैं "(1 यूहन्ना 1: 6; प्रेरितों के काम 5: 1-4)।

2)। "लेकिन अगर हम प्रकाश में चलते हैं तो वह प्रकाश में है, हम एक दूसरे के साथ संगति करते हैं [हम परमेश्वर के साथ संगति करते हैं क्योंकि हम उसके प्रकाश में हैं - उसकी धार्मिकता] और यीशु मसीह का रक्त उसका पुत्र हमें सब से शुद्ध करता है पाप” (1 यूहन्ना 1:7; प्रकाशितवाक्य 1:5)। ईश्वरीय भय को केवल उन लोगों द्वारा जाना जा सकता है जिन्हें यीशु के अनमोल लहू से साफ किया गया है (1 पतरस 1:18, 19)।

3)। "अगर हम कहते हैं कि हमारे पास कोई पाप नहीं है, तो हम खुद को धोखा देते हैं, सच्चाई हम में नहीं है" (1 यूहन्ना 1: 8; गलातियों 6: 7,8)।

4)। "यदि हम अपने पापों को स्वीकार करते हैं तो वह विश्वासयोग्य है और हमें हमारे पापों को क्षमा कर देता है और हमें सभी अधर्म से शुद्ध करता है" (1 यूहन्ना 1: 9)। लहू से साफ किया जा करने के लिए खो दिया है या परमेश्वर पिता के साथ एक रिश्ते में सहेजा नहीं गया है। पापों से शुद्ध होने के लिए, जो आप परमेश्वर के परिवार में पैदा होने के बाद करते हैं, आपको प्रत्येक ज्ञात पाप नाम से पुकारते हुए उन्हें हमारे परमेश्वर के सामने स्वीकार करना चाहिए। परमेश्वर के डर से आप हर बार जब आप प्रार्थना में परमेश्वर के पास जाते हैं, तो आप अपने दिल को खोज लेंगे; और यदि आप अपने दिल में किसी भी अपुष्ट पाप को पाते हैं, हालांकि छोटा है, इसे जज करें, इसे कबूल करें और इसे त्याग दें। 1यूहन्ना 1: 9 का हर दिन अभ्यास करें, और इस प्रकार परमेश्वर के साथ संगति में रहें।

5)। "अगर हम कहते हैं कि हमने पाप नहीं किया है, तो हम उसे झूठा बनाते हैं, और उसका वचन हम में नहीं है" (1यूहन्ना 1: 10)। ईश्वरीय भय आपको यह नहीं कहने देगा, "मेरे पास कोई पाप नहीं है," या "मैं शरीर में पाप नहीं कर सकता," या " जब से प्रभु ने मुझे बचाया है मैंने पाप नहीं किया है।" फिर भी ईश्वरीय भय आपको प्रलोभन का विरोध करने में भी मदद कर सकता है (1कुरिन्थियों 10: 13)।

“मेरे छोटे बच्चे, ये बातें मैं तुम्हें लिखता हूं, ताकि तुम पाप न करो। और अगर कोई पाप करता है, तो हमारे पास पिता के साथ एक वकील है, वह धर्मी यीशु मसीह है ”(1 जॉन 2:1)
