 4- LOCATION OF SHEOL or HADES

        We have learned in the previous lessons that Sheol or Hades is a holding place of the righteous and wicked Souls before the time of cross. Now let us find out the location of Hades or Sheol in this lesson.

All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted and said, “No, I shall go down to Sheol to my son, mourning.”(Genesis 37:35)

 …..If harm should happen to him on the journey that you are to make, you would bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol (Genesis 42:38).

If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs in evil to Sheol (Genesis 44:29).

as soon as he sees that the boy is not with us, he will die, and your servants will bring down the gray hairs of your servant our father with sorrow to Sheol (Genesis 44:31).

Act therefore according to your wisdom, but do not let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace. (1 Kings 2:6) 

 …..You will know what you ought to do to him, and you shall bring his gray head down with blood to Sheol (1 Kings 2:9).

​The LORD kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up (1 Samuel 2:6).

Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, ……(Isaiah 14:11)

….. Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades (Matthew 11:23).

Do you notice? The location of Sheol or Hades 

is said to be down, down, down, down, down, down, down,………

Now, let us see where is this downward location.

Rebellion of Korah, Datan and Abiram:

And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly (Number 16:32, 33).

        

        In Number 16, Korah, Datan and Abiram opposed the leadership of Moses and hence led 250 Israelite's against Moses and Aaron during 40 years journey in the wilderness. God became angry with them for opposing Moses. So, God passed a judgment on those who were on the side of Korah, Datan and Abiram. Suddenly, the surface of the earth open itself and all those who were on the side of the three wicked fell down into the opening of the earth with all their families and properties, and thus they perished. But what the Bible says is this; “The earth opened and those who were on wicked side fell down alive into Sheol”. Now we see; where Sheol or Hades is located? Yes; it is inside our earth. Therefore the Bible says that Sheol or Hades is down, down, down, down, down, down……..

Judgment of Egypt, Pharaoh and others who sin

….On the day it went down to Sheol ……. I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit. …..they were made to feel sorry in the lowermost part of the earth. They also went down to Sheol with it, to those who are slain by the sword…… You shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lowermost part of the earth (Ezekiel 31:15-18) .

“Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt, and send them down, her and the daughters of majestic nations, to the lowermost part of the earth…….. The mighty chiefs shall speak of them, with their helpers, out of the midst of Sheol: ‘They have come down, they lie still, the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.’ (Ezekiel 32:18, 21) 

    Do you again notice where Sheol is? Yes; it is in the “Lowermost part of our earth”. On the other hand, we can say that Sheol is in the center of our earth.

New Testament on three world

​​​​​​​so that at the name of Jesus ​​​​​​every knee will bow ​​​​​​– in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it. Then I heard every creature – in heaven, on earth, under the earth, ……. (Revelation 5:3, 13).

         Do you again notice here? Bible tells us that there are three world: in Heaven, on earth (Surface of he earth) and under the earth, and in those places, there are creatures (life). The world that is under the earth is Sheol. Hence, Sheol is inside our earth, the place of departed human souls.

In the book of Enoch

        The book of Enoch is an ancient book, written by Enoch, who walked with God and was taken alive into heaven  Genesis 5:24. This book is not a part of the Bible but it is a true vision given by God to Enoch, and it was widely used by early Christian from the 1st until 7th century. The same was used by Jews as well before and after Christ. Moses copied Genesis chapter 6 from the book of Enoch, Peter copied many of the verses from the book of Enoch in II Peter, and Jude copied Jude 14-15 from the book of Enoch. The book of Enoch existed even before  the book of Genesis was written.

4- शेओल  या हैड्स  का स्थान

       हमने पिछले पाठों में सीखा है कि क्रूस  के समय से पहले शेओल या हेड्स धर्मी और दुष्ट आत्माओं का एक ठिकाना है। अब हम इस पाठ में पाताल (हेड्स) या शेओल  का स्थान पता   करते हैं।

और उसके सब बेटे-बेटियों ने उसको शान्ति देने का यत्न किया; पर उसको शान्ति न मिली; और वह यही कहता रहा, मैं तो विलाप करता हुआ अपने पुत्र के पास अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतर जाऊंगा। इस प्रकार उसका पिता उसके लिये रोता ही रहा। (उत्पत्ति 37:35)

………यदि उस पर कोई विपत्ति आ पड़े, तब तो तुम्हारे कारण मैं इस बुढ़ापे की अवस्था में शोक के साथ अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतर जाऊंगा॥ (उत्पत्ति 42:38)

सो यदि तुम इस को भी मेरी आंख की आड़ में ले जाओ, और कोई विपत्ति इस पर पड़े, तो तुम्हारे कारण मैं इस पक्के बाल की अवस्था में दु:ख के साथ अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतर जाऊंगा। (उत्पत्ति 44:29)

इस कारण, यह देखके कि लड़का नहीं है, वह तुरन्त ही मर जाएगा। तब तेरे दासों के कारण तेरा दास हमारा पिता, जो पक्के बालों की अवस्था का है, शोक के साथ अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतर जाएगा। (उत्पत्ति 44:31)

इसलिये तू अपनी बुद्धि से काम लेना और उस पक्के बाल वाले को अधोलोक (शेओल) में शांति से उतरने न देना। (1 राजा 2:9)

…..तुझे मालूम होगा कि उसके साथ क्या करना चाहिये, और उस पक्के बाल वाले का लहू बहाकर उसे अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतार देना। (1 राजा 2:9)

यहोवा मारता है और जिलाता भी है; वही अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतारता और उस से निकालता भी है॥ (1 शमूएल 2:6)

तेरा वैभव और तेरी सारंगियों को शब्द अधोलोक (शेओल) में उतारा गया है ………. (यशायाह 14:11)

और हे कफरनहूम, क्या तू स्वर्ग तक ऊंचा किया जाएगा? तू तो अधोलोक तक नीचे जाएगा; (मत्ती 11:23)

 क्या आप नोटिस करते हैं? शेओल  या हैड्स का स्थान नीचे कहा गया है, उतारा, उतारा, उतारा, उतारा, उतारा, उतारा, उतारा………

अब, देखते हैं कि यह नीचे का स्थान कहां है।

कोरह, दातान और अबराम का विद्रोह:

और पृथ्वी ने अपना मुंह खोल दिया और उनका और उनका घरद्वार का सामान, और कोरह के सब मनुष्यों और उनकी सारी सम्पत्ति को भी निगल लिया। और वे और उनका सारा घरबार जीवित ही अधोलोक में जा पड़े; और पृथ्वी ने उन को ढांप लिया, और वे मण्डली के बीच में से नष्ट हो गए। (गिनती 16:32, 33)

गिनती 16 में, कोरह, दातान और अबीराम ने मूसा के नेतृत्व का विरोध किया और इसलिए जंगल में 40 वर्षों की यात्रा के दौरान मूसा और हारून के खिलाफ 250  यहूदी  का नेतृत्व किया। मूसा के विरोध करने पर परमेश्वर उनसे क्रोधित हो गया। इसलिए, परमेश्वर  ने उन लोगों पर एक फैसला सुनाया जो कोरह, दातान और अबीराम के पक्ष में थे। अचानक, पृथ्वी की सतह अपने आप खुल जाती है और तीनों दुष्टों के पक्ष में आने वाले सभी लोग अपने सभी परिवारों और संपत्तियों के साथ पृथ्वी के उद्घाटन में गिर गए, और इस तरह वे नष्ट हो गए। लेकिन बाइबल क्या कहती है; "पृथ्वी खुल गई और जो दुष्ट पक्ष में थे वे शेओल में जीवित हो गए"। अब हम देखते हैं; शेओल  या हैड्स कहाँ स्थित है? हाँ; यह हमारी पृथ्वी के अंदर है। इसलिए बाइबल कहती है कि शेओल या अधोलोक नीचे, नीचे, नीचे, नीचे, नीचे, नीचे… .. है।

मिस्र का न्याय, फिरौन और अन्य जो पाप करते हैं

…. जिस दिन यह शेओल  के लिए नीचे चला गया ……. मैंने राष्ट्रों को इसके गिरने की आवाज पर भूकंप दिया, जब मैंने इसे नीचे गड्ढे में जाने वालों के साथ शेओल डाल दिया. ….. उन्हें पृथ्वी के सबसे निचले हिस्से में खेद महसूस करने के लिए बनाया गया था। जो लोग तलवार से मारे गए थे, वे भी इसे लेकर  शेओल  के पास गए  …… आपको अदन के वृक्षों के साथ पृथ्वी के सबसे निचले हिस्से में लाया जाएगा। (यहेजकेल 31:15-18)

“हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, मिस्र की भीड़ के लिये हाय-हाय कर, और उसको प्रतापी जातियों की बेटियों समेत कबर में गड़े हुओं के पास अधोलोक में उतार। …….. सामथीं शूरवीर उस से और उसके सहायकों से अधोलोक में बातें करेंगे; वे खतनाहीन लोग वहां तलवार से मरे पड़े हैं। (यहेजकेल 32:18, 21)

 

क्या आप फिर से नोटिस करते हैं कि शेओल कहाँ है? हाँ; यह "हमारी पृथ्वी के सबसे निचले हिस्से" में है। दूसरी ओर, हम कह सकते हैं कि शेओल हमारी पृथ्वी के केंद्र में है।

नया नियम का तीन दुनिया पर

​​​​​​​कि जो स्वर्ग में और पृथ्वी पर और जो पृथ्वी के नीचे है; वे सब यीशु के नाम पर घुटना टेकें।  (फिलिप्पियों 2:10) 

और न स्वर्ग में, न पृथ्वी पर, न पृथ्वी के नीचे कोई उस पुस्तक को खोलने या उस पर दृष्टि डालने के योग्य निकला। (प्रकाशित वाक्य 5:3)

फिर मैं ने स्वर्ग में, और पृथ्वी पर, और पृथ्वी के नीचे, और समुद्र की सब सृजी हुई वस्तुओं को,…….

 क्या आप फिर से यहाँ धयान किया? बाइबल हमें बताती है कि तीन दुनियाएँ हैं: स्वर्ग में, पृथ्वी पर (पृथ्वी की सतह) और पृथ्वी के नीचे, और उन स्थानों में, जीव (जीवन) हैं। पृथ्वी के नीचे जो दुनिया है, वह शेओल  है। इसलिए, शेओल हमारी पृथ्वी के अंदर है, स्वर्गबासी मानव आत्माओं का स्थान।

हनोक की किताब में

 हनोक की पुस्तक एक प्राचीन पुस्तक है, जो हनोक द्वारा लिखी गई है, जो परमेश्वर के साथ चली और उसे स्वर्ग में जीवित ले जाया गया।(उत्पत्ति 5:24) यह पुस्तक बाइबल का हिस्सा नहीं है, लेकिन यह परमेस्वर द्वारा हनोक को दी गई एक सच्ची दृष्टि है, और इसे पहली बार 7 वीं शताब्दी तक प्रारंभिक ईसाई द्वारा व्यापक रूप से इस्तेमाल किया गया था। ईसा से पहले और बाद में यहूदियों द्वारा भी इसका उपयोग किया गया था। मूसा ने हनोक की किताब से उत्पत्ति अध्याय 6 की नकल की, पतरस ने हनोक की किताब से 2 पतरस की कई छंदों की नकल की, और यहुदा  ने हनोक की पुस्तक से यहूदा 14-15 की नकल की। उत्पत्ति की पुस्तक लिखे जाने से पहले ही हनोक की पुस्तक मौजूद थी।
