B. How Did Mankind Fall, and What Were the Effects? (Romans 3:23)

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (v.23). All are born in sin because of Adam’s fall (the first sinned) in the Garden of Eden. “Therefore, just as through one man sin enter the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).

1). God gave the first human couple freedom of will, and commanded them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The couple also had the gift of spoken language, which was a part of creation (Gen.2:16-20; 5:8). It is debated whether this tree had special knowledge giving properties, or whether its used in the test alone gave it these qualities. This test was given amid an abundance of trees good for food. It was simple and direct- a test of the will of humanity to submit, as grateful subordinate creatures, to their all-wise, all-providing, caring Creator (Gen.2:16, 17)

2). Satan, already a fallen angelic, tempted Eve to disobey God (Gen.3:1-5). Satan, as a spirit, apparently had no physical body, and required one in this instance to communicate with Eve. He used the body of an animal to speak with her.

3). Eve was lured by Satan through

   a). her lingering near the forbidden place;

   b). her talking with the tempter;

   c). his quotation of half-truths, and misquotation of God’s Word (Gen.3:1-6).

These ingredients of temptation are still available to Satan today.

 4). Adam fell with Eve. The Bible explains this as the fall of the human race, naming Adam as the head of the race. Neither Genesis 3:6 nor any other verse in the entire Bible excuses Adam because he fell after Eve’s fall (1Tim.2:14).

5). The sin of Adam and Eve brought down the future human race with them. Mankind fell in Adam (Rom.5:12). This is the uniform testimony of

a). the Genesis account (Gen.3:16--4:9);

b). the Old Testament (Ps.14:1-3);

c). the New Testament (1Cor.15:22);

d). all human experience through ages of unremedied violence, misery, and suffering.

6). With the entrance of sin into the human race came its companion, suffering (Gen.3:15—4:8).

7). Death, suffering, the will to do evil, and the inability to stop sinning, all came as result of the Fall. The corruption of the earth—its vegetation with thorns and thistles, and the carnivorous nature of the wild beasts—resulted from the Fall. The grief and suffering in the world was typified at once, by the first children of Adam and Eve, when Cain murdered Abel. Murder has continued unabated to the present day.

B. मानव जाति कैसे गिरा, और क्या प्रभाव थे? (रोमियों 3:23)

"इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया है और परमेश्वर की महिमा से रहित हैं।" (v.23)। अदन के बगीचे में आदम के गिरने (पहला पाप किया गया) के कारण सभी पाप में पैदा हुए हैं। "इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।" (रोमियों 5:12)। 

1)परमेश्वर ने पहले मानव जोड़े को इच्छा-शक्ति की स्वतंत्रता दी, और उन्हें अच्छे और बुरे के ज्ञान के वृक्ष को न खाने की आज्ञा दी। इस जोड़ी के पास बोली जाने वाली भाषा का उपहार भी था, जो सृजन का एक हिस्सा था (उत्पत्ति 2: 16-20; 5: 8)। यह बहस की जाती है कि क्या इस पेड़ को विशेष ज्ञान देने वाले गुण थे, या क्या अकेले परीक्षण में इसका उपयोग इन गुणों को दिया था। यह परीक्षण भोजन के लिए अच्छे पेड़ों की बहुतायत के बीच दिया गया था। यह सरल और प्रत्यक्ष था- मानवता की इच्छा का परीक्षण, आभारी अधीनस्थ प्राणियों के रूप में, अपने सभी बुद्धिमान, सभी प्रदान करने वाले, देखभाल करने वाले निर्माता (उत्पत्ति 2:16,17) को प्रस्तुत करना।

2)   शैतान, पहले से ही गिर गया एक स्वर्गदूत, परमेश्‍वर की अवज्ञा के लिए ईव को लुभाया (उत्पत्ति3: 1-5)। शैतान, एक आत्मा के रूप में, जाहिरा तौर पर कोई भौतिक शरीर नहीं था, और ईव के साथ संवाद करने के लिए इस उदाहरण में एक की आवश्यकता थी। उसने उसके साथ बोलने के लिए एक जानवर के शरीर का इस्तेमाल किया। 3)  हव्वा शैतान के माध्यम से लालच दिया गया था

a) निषिद्ध स्थान के पास उसका लिंग;

b)उसे प्रलोभक के साथ बात करते हुए;

c)उनके अर्ध-सत्य का उद्धरण, और परमेश्वर के वचन का गलत अर्थ (उत्पत्ति 3:1-6)।

प्रलोभन के ये तत्व आज भी शैतान को उपलब्ध हैं।

4)  आदम हव्वा के साथ गिर गया। बाइबल इसे मानव जाति के पतन के रूप में समझाती है, आदम को दौड़ के प्रमुख के रूप में नामित करते हुए। पूरी बाइबल में आदम के बारे में न तो उत्पत्ति 3:6 और न ही कोई अन्य पद्य, क्योंकि वह हव्वा के गिरने के बाद गिर गया (1 1 तीमुथियुस 2:14)।

5)आदम और हव्वा के पाप ने भविष्य की मानव जाति को उनके साथ ला दिया। मानव जाति   आदम में गिर गया (रोमियो 5:12)। यह एक समान गवाही है

  a) उत्पत्ति खाता (उत्पत्ति 3:16--4:9);

  b) पुराना नियम (भजन 14:1-3);

  c) नाया नियम (1 कुरिन्थियों 15:22);

  d) बिना किसी हिंसा, दुख और पीड़ा के सभी मानव अनुभव।

6)  मानव जाति में पाप के प्रवेश के साथ, उसका साथी आया, पीड़ा (उत्पत्ति 3:15-4:8)।

7)    मृत्यु, कष्ट, बुराई करने की इच्छा, और पाप को रोकने में असमर्थता, यह सब पतन के परिणामस्वरूप हुआ। पृथ्वी का भ्रष्टाचार - कांटों और नोक के साथ इसकी वनस्पति, और जंगली जानवरों की मांसाहारी प्रकृति - पतन के परिणामस्वरूप। आदम और हव्वा के पहले बच्चों द्वारा, जब कैन ने एबेल की हत्या कर दी थी, तो दुनिया में दुःख और पीड़ा एक ही बार में बढ़ गई थी। वर्तमान में हत्या जारी है।
