I. B- You are What You Think. (Romans 12:3)

      You are not always what you think you are, you are what you think. As a child of God you must not think too lowly of yourself because you are a “New creation” in Christ, an ambassador for Christ. You became “the righteousness of God in Him” (2Cor.5:17-21). Don’t you know that you belong to the aristocracy of heaven? So think like the spiritual aristocrat that you are. You are part of nobility (1John.3:6)

      However, you have an old sinful nature. Therefore, Paul tells us not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think (v.3). He also said, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwell” (Rom.7:18). Jesus said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh” (John.3:6). In other words, the New Birth in itself does not change or perfect the flesh. Flesh is carnal and there is no escaping it until death (Ps.51:5), or until the rapture of the church, when we shall be changed “in the twinkling of an eye” (1Cor.15:52). Therefore, if you are to be an effective child of God in this sin-cursed world, you must keep the fleshly nature under control and bring it into subjection to the will of God, or else be disqualified as Christ’s ambassador (1Cor.9:27).

      One of the most important things you do is think. Your thinking can be profitable or futile. You are the master of your thoughts; you think by choice. You can think good or you can think evil- the choice is yours. You cannot think both good and evil simultaneously anymore than you can travel east and west at the same time. Every thought must be brought into subjection to the mind of Christ. Studying God’s Word with the Spirit’s illumination forms the mind of Christ in you.

How do you choose to think? You can think the following kind of thoughts (Phil.4:8):

1)      Righteous or unrighteous

2)      Clean or unclean

3)      Moral or immoral

4)      Honest or dishonest

5)      Pure or impure

6)      True or untrue

7)      Noble or ignoble

8)      Just or unjust

9)      Lovely ugly

10)  Good or bad

11)  Virtuous or corrupt

12)  Praiseworthy or unworthy

Accept God’s great invitation: “ ‘Come now, and let us reason together, ‘ says the Lord, ‘Though your sin are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool’ “ Him in thought, word, or deed (Ps. 119:11). You always sin in thought before you sin in word or deed. Remember, you are what you think.

आप हमेशा वो नहीं होते जो आप सोचते हैं कि आप हैं, पर वास्तव में आप वो हैं जो आप सोचते हैं। परमेश्वर के एक बच्चे के रूप में आपको खुद के बारे में बहुत कम नहीं सोचना चाहिए क्योंकि आप मसीह में "नई रचना" हैं, जो मसीह के लिए एक राजदूत हैं। आप “परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता”बन गए (2Cor.5: 17-21)। क्या आप नहीं जानते कि आप स्वर्ग के उत्तम वर्ग के हैं? इसलिए उस आध्यात्मिक अभिजात की तरह सोचें जो आप हैं। आप बड़प्पन का हिस्सा हैं (1 John.1: 6)

हालाँकि, आपके पास एक पुराना पापी स्वभाव है। इसलिए, पॉल हमें बताता है कि जितना हम सोचना चाहते हैं उससे ज्यादा खुद को नहीं सोचें (v.3)। उन्होंने यह भी कहा, "क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं कि मेरे (मेरे शरीर में) कुछ भी अच्छा नहीं है" (Rom.7:18)। यीशु ने कहा, "जो शरीर से जन्मा है वह शरीर है" (यूहन्ना ३: ६)। दूसरे शब्दों में, अपने आप में नया जन्म शरीर को परिवर्तित या परिपूर्ण नहीं करता है। वह शरीर नाशवान है और मृत्यु (Ps.51: 5) या की कलीसिया के Rapture तक, जब हम "एक पलक झपकते ही" बदले जाएंगे (1Cor.15: 52) इससे कोई बच नहीं सकता है। इसलिए, यदि आप इस पाप-शापित दुनिया में परमेश्वर के एक प्रभावी बच्चे हैं, तो आपको अपने स्वभाव को नियंत्रण में रखना चाहिए और इसे परमेश्वर की इच्छा के अधीन करना चाहिए, अन्यथा मसीह के राजदूत के रूप में अयोग्य घोषित किया जाना चाहिए (1Cor.9:27)।

आपके द्वारा की जाने वाली सबसे महत्वपूर्ण चीजों में से एक है। आपकी सोच लाभदायक या निरर्थक हो सकती है। आप अपने विचारों के स्वामी हैं; आप अपने पसंद से सोचते हैं। आप अच्छा सोच सकते हैं या आप बुराई सोच सकते हैं- चुनाव आपका है। आप एक ही समय में पूर्व और पश्चिम की यात्रा की तुलना में अब एक साथ अच्छा और बुरा दोनों नहीं सोच सकते। प्रत्येक विचार को मसीह में मन के अधीन किया जाना चाहिए। आत्मा की रोशनी के साथ परमेश्वर के वचन का अध्ययन करने से आप में मसीह का मन बनता है।

आप कैसे सोचते हैं? आप निम्न प्रकार के विचार सोच सकते हैं (फिलिप्पियों.4: 8):

1) धर्मी या अधर्मी

२) स्वच्छ या गंदा

३) नैतिक या अनैतिक

4) ईमानदार या बेईमान

5) शुद्ध या अशुद्ध

6) सच्चा या झूठा

7) नेक या नीच

8) न्यायी या अन्यायपूर्ण

9) सुंदर या बदसूरत

10) अच्छा या बुरा

11) सदाचारी या भ्रष्ट

12) प्रशंसनीय या अयोग्य

परमेश्वर के महान निमंत्रण को स्वीकार करें: “, अब आइए हम, एक साथ तर्क दें, स्वामी प्रभु कहते हैं, हालांकि तुम्हारे पाप की तरह हैं, वे बर्फ के समान सफेद होंगे; हालांकि वे गहरा लाल की तरह लाल होते हैं, वे ऊन के समान होंगे, "उन्हें विचार, शब्द, या विलेख (Ps: 119: 11")। आप हमेशा शब्द या कर्म में पाप करने से पहले विचार में पाप करते हैं। याद रखें, आप वही हैं जो आप सोचते हैं।
