Love Over Miracles: The Heart That Matters
Love Over Miracles: The Heart That Matters
Jesus said:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father… Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” – Matthew 7:21-23
This shows us:
-
Miracles and spiritual gifts are not enough: Even performing supernatural works is meaningless if the heart is not aligned with God.
-
Love is the foundation of obedience: Doing the will of the Father is rooted in love—for God and for others. Without love, even miraculous acts are empty.
-
Rapture readiness comes from a loving heart: Our relationship with God, expressed through love, patience, and faithfulness, is what truly prepares us for Christ’s return.
In short, love is not optional. It’s the heart of obedience, the proof of genuine faith, and the key that aligns miracles, gifts, and good deeds with God’s eternal purposes.
