Strength Through the Struggle

Strength Through the Struggle Key Text: 2 Chronicles 20:17 “You will not need to fight in this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you… Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged… the Lord will be with you.” Introduction Strength doesn’t come from winning. Strength is developed through the struggles you face. Real strength is not revealed when life is easy. Real strength is revealed when you go through hardships and decide not to surrender. With God’s strength, you are more than a conqueror. 1. Jehoshaphat – Strength in Fear (2 Chronicles 20) Jehoshaphat was surrounded by a powerful enemy. The Bible says he was afraid , but he didn’t panic—he prayed. He called the people to fast and seek the Lord. God did not remove the battle. God revealed His power in the battle. God told them: “You will not need to fight this battle… Stand firm and see the deliverance of the Lord.” They stood. They worshiped. And God fought for them. 👉 Lesson: Streng...

Foundation: What Marriage Is  2. God’s Principle of “Little by Little” 3. Roles: Mutual Investment, Not Transaction 4. Conflict: Repair, Don’t Withdraw  5. Building a God - Centered Home 6. Commitment & Prayer.  Foundation: What Marriage Is  1. Marriage Is NOT an ATM  Many people enter marriage thinking it works like an ATM: “I put in my card, enter my needs, and withdraw love, care, attention, or support.” But marriage doesn’t work that way. 👉 Love cannot be withdrawn without daily deposits. If there are no deposits, the account eventually runs dry. The currency of marriage is not money—it is: Time – being present, not just available Respect – in words, tone, and attitude Care – noticing, serving, protecting one another Small, consistent deposits matter more than big, occasional gestur...

From Obstacle to Builder

From Obstacle to Builder Key Theme: Instead of becoming an obstacle, become humble and do the work of new construction. Introduction Beloved church, Every generation faces a holy question: Will we resist what God is doing, or will we participate in it? God is always at work—building lives, restoring families, shaping leaders, renewing His Church. Yet, history shows us a sobering truth: sometimes the greatest resistance to God’s new work does not come from the world, but from within God’s own people. Today’s message is a call—not of condemnation, but of alignment. A call to move from being an obstacle to becoming a builder . A call to humility. A call to new construction. Scripture Reading 1 Corinthians 3:9–11 “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building… But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1. God Is Always Building God is not static. He is a Builder God . From Gene...

Pressed for a Purpose: Stepping Into the Year of the Lord’s Favour

“Pressed for a Purpose: Stepping Into the Year of the Lord’s Favour” Introduction Church, every one of us knows what pressure feels like. Pressure in our finances… Pressure in our families… Pressure in our minds… Pressure in our calling… Most people see pressure as defeat, but in God’s Kingdom, pressure is often the sign of promotion . The enemy uses pressure to break you— but God uses pressure to build you. Today, the Holy Spirit is saying: “Don’t run from pressure; lean into it. Because I’m preparing you for My favour.” POINT 1: PRESSURE IS A TOOL, NOT A PUNISHMENT James 1:2–4 The testing of your faith produces perseverance… Pressure doesn’t mean God is angry with you. Pressure often means God is developing you. Gold becomes pure only in fire. Diamonds form only under deep pressure. And God forms His strongest children through the hardest seasons. POINT 2: PRESSURE REVEALS WHAT’S INSIDE YOU 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed. Pressure exposes your...

A Wise Woman Builds Her House

“A Wise Woman Builds Her House” Text: Proverbs 14:1 “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.” INTRODUCTION Homes are not destroyed in a day. Homes are not built in a day either. This proverb shows us a contrast of two builders : A wise woman who builds A foolish woman who destroys The verse teaches a universal truth: The atmosphere of a home is shaped more by character than by circumstances. Let us look at what the Bible says about a wise woman and a foolish woman. I. THE WISE WOMAN — A BUILDER (Proverbs 14:1a) “Every wise woman buildeth her house.” 1. She builds through character Wisdom in the Bible is not just intelligence. It is: Fear of the Lord Humility Self-control Discernment Understanding people Emotional maturity A wise woman’s character becomes the foundation of her home. 2. She builds through her words Her words heal, encourage, and bring life. Proverbs 31:26 says: “She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is ...

The Kingdom of God Will Be Given to Another”

The Kingdom of God Will Be Given to Another” Scripture: Matthew 21:43 – “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.” Introduction Jesus warned that the Kingdom of God could be taken from those who fail to bear fruit and given to those who will. This isn’t just spiritual talk—it applies to our businesses, relationships, and daily life in the physical world. Let’s see how this works in practical terms . 1. The Kingdom in the Spiritual Realm Spiritually, bearing fruit means living by God’s principles: integrity, faithfulness, and love. Example: Imagine a church leader who has influence but is dishonest in his personal life. People may respect him for what he does, but spiritually, he becomes unfruitful. His opportunity to expand God’s Kingdom is limited. Contrast this with a humble believer who serves quietly, prays faithfully, and invests in mentoring younger believers. Their “spiritual business” grows, producing fru...
