The Reality of Loss

The Reality of Loss Text: Joel 2 Theme: God restores everything the enemy has stolen 1. Introduction Joel 2 describes a time of terrible devastation. Locusts destroyed everything—crops, harvest, and hope. The land was left empty and barren. This is a picture of seasons in our lives when we feel destroyed, broken, and without hope. The truth is this: All loss comes from the enemy — Satan. “The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy.” – John 10:10 2. The Reality of Loss Loss comes in different forms, but the source is the same—the enemy. A. Financial Loss Satan attacks our provision and resources. Businesses collapse, debts arise, opportunities are blocked. Bible Example: Job Job lost his wealth, livestock, property, and everything he owned — not because he sinned, but because Satan attacked him to destroy his faith . But God restored him double what he lost. “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the beginning.” – Job 42:12 B. Emotional Loss...

God Purpose in Our Life – The Story of Joseph Key Verse: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”* – Genesis 50:20 हमारे जीवन में परमेश्वर का उद्देश्य – यूसुफ की कहानी मुख्य पद:   “तुम लोगों ने मेरे विरुद्ध बुरा करने की सोची, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने उसे भलाई के लिए ठहराया… बहुत लोगों का जीवन बचाने के लिए।”  – उत्पत्ति 50:20 1. God Has a Purpose Before We See It  उद्देश्य हमें दिखने से पहले ही परमेश्वर तैयार करता है Genesis 37 Joseph had dreams from God at a young age. Though he didn’t understand everything, those dreams were God's early sign of purpose. Lesson: Even when you don’t understand what God is doing, trust that He has planted a purpose in your life.  जब आप नहीं समझते कि परमेश्वर आपके जीवन में क्या कर रहा है, तब भी विश्वास...

The Power of Vision Proverbs 29:18 — “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” (KJV) Other translations: NIV: “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint.” ESV: “Where there is no prophetic vision, the people are unrestrained.” Introduction Every successful person, family, church, ministry, or nation rises on the foundation of vision . Vision is more than a dream or personal ambition. It is God’s revealed direction and purpose for our lives. Activity without vision leads to frustration; but vision brings direction, unity, and life . 1. What Is Vision? Vision is: Seeing the future through God’s eyes God’s revelation, guidance, and direction A clear picture of God’s purpose for our life, family, church, ministry, and calling Vision answers: Who am I? PSALM 127

PSALM 127 Title: “Unless the Lord Builds Your Life” INTRODUCTION Psalm 127 is a short psalm, but it carries a powerful truth: Without God, our efforts are empty. GOD QUALIFIES THE CALLED

“GOD QUALIFIES THE CALLED” INTRODUCTION People often think God only uses the strong, the talented, and the perfect. But Scripture shows the opposite: God chooses ordinary, weak, broken people so His glory is revealed. God doesn’t look at ability — He looks at availability. POINT 1: GOD TURNS THE ORDINARY INTO EXTRAORDINARY 1. Moses — A man who stuttered He said, “Lord, I am slow of speech” (Exodus 4:10). Yet God made him the leader who brought Israel out of Egypt. → He wasn’t qualified; God qualified him. 2. David — A simple shepherd boy He wasn’t even invited to the anointing ceremony. God made him the greatest king of Israel. → God does not choose by appearance, but by the heart. POINT 2: GOD MAKES THE WEAK STRONG 1. Gideon — The weakest in the weakest clan He said, “My clan is the weakest… and I am the least” (Judges 6:15). God called him a “mighty warrior” and used him to save Israel. → God’s strength is made perfect in weakness. 2. Peter — Impuls...

THE TEST IS FOR YOUR TESTIMONY

“THE TEST IS FOR YOUR TESTIMONY” INTRODUCTION Every believer faces tests. Tests feel painful, but they are the places where God builds testimonies. Bible heroes became heroes because of their tests. Key Verse: Revelation 12:11 — We overcome… by the word of our testimony. POINT 1: TESTS ARE NOT TO DESTROY YOU, BUT TO DEVELOP YOU Scriptures: James 1:2–4, Romans 5:3–4 Bible Heroes: 1. Joseph (Genesis 37–50) Tested by betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and prison. But the test prepared him to rule Egypt. His testimony saved nations. 2. David (1 Samuel 16–17) Tested by lions, bears, and later, Goliath. Without earlier tests, he could not face giants. Test produced courage. 3. Daniel (Daniel 1–6) Tested in Babylon. Tested in the lion’s den. His testimony showed that God rules over kings. Application: Your test is training ground for your calling. POINT 2: GOD ALLOWS TESTS TO SHOW HIS FAITHFULNESS Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 10:13,...
