Redeeming Love

Redeeming Love: Living God’s Purpose Through Hosea’s Story" Hosea 1:2–3; Hosea 3:1 Introduction  Sometimes, God calls us to live out a message—not just preach it, but embody it.  One of the most striking examples is the prophet Hosea, whom God asked to do something unthinkable: marry a woman with a broken past and an unfaithful future. Why would God do this? Because Hosea’s life was to be a living picture of God’s redeeming love and relentless purpose for His people. 1. God’s Strange Command — Hosea 1:2 “Go, marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her…” Imagine the pain, the confusion. God didn’t tell Hosea to marry a godly woman, or even a neutral one—He said, “Marry a woman with a bad reputation.” This was not a mistake—it was God’s purpose.  Application: God’s purpose for your life may not always look comfortable. Sometimes it may involve pain, patience, or public misunderstanding. But His purpose is always bigger than your moment—it carries a message. 2. Gome...

Walking in God’s Purpose —

Walking in God’s Purpose — Lessons from David and the Ark** The story of David bringing the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem (2 Samuel 6) is more than just a historical moment—it reveals deep truths about God’s purpose in our lives. 1. God's Presence is Central to Our Purpose The Ark represented God’s presence. David knew that without it, Israel could not truly fulfill its destiny as God’s chosen people. Application: Just as David prioritized God’s presence, we must center our lives around Him. God's purpose begins with relationship, not performance. 2. **Delays and Detours Are Not Denials After Uzzah died, David paused the mission and left the Ark at **Obed-Edom’s house**. This seemed like a setback, but it was part of God's process. Application: When we face delays in life, it doesn’t mean God’s purpose is cancelled. He may be preparing us—just as David needed to learn reverence and proper order. 3. Obedience Brings Blessing Obed-Edom's household was blessed simp...

"Mary and Martha: Choosing What Is Better"

Mary and Martha: Choosing What Is Better Text: Luke 10:38–42, John 11, John 12:1–8 Theme: A heart for Jesus over the work for Jesus Main Point: Jesus desires our presence more than our performance. Introduction: Open with a question: “Have you ever felt too busy to pray or spend time with God?” Introduce Mary and Martha as beloved friends of Jesus who show us two different approaches to serving Him. The story reveals what truly matters to Jesus—not just our hands, but our hearts. Point 1: Martha—The Servant’s Heart (Luke 10:38–42) Martha welcomed Jesus into her home—she loved Him and wanted to serve. But she was distracted and worried about many tasks. She even tried to get Jesus to rebuke Mary for not helping. Jesus gently corrected her: “Mary has chosen what is better.” Application: Serving is important, but not at the cost of sitting at Jesus’ feet. In ministry, family, or business—we must protect time in His presence. Point 2: Mary—The...

Fear to Faith

“From Fear to Faith: The Journey of Gideon” Text: Judges 6–7 Introduction: We often feel unworthy or incapable when God calls us. Gideon’s story reminds us that God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. 1. God Calls the Weak (Judges 6:11–16) Key verse: “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” (v.12) Points: Gideon was hiding from the enemy when God called him. He saw himself as the least, but God saw a warrior. Application: God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. 2. Faith Needs Assurance (Judges 6:17–40) Key verse: “If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign...” (v.17) Points: Gideon asked for signs — not once, but multiple times. God was patient with him, confirming His will with the fleece. Application: It’s okay to seek clarity from God—but stay willing to obey. 3. Victory Belongs to the Lord (Judges 7:1–22) Key verse: “The people with you are too many... lest Israel claim glory for itsel...

I Will Not Give Up Key Scripture: Romans 8:37 – “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”  “पर इन सब बातों में हम उसके द्वारा जिसने हम से प्रेम किया है, जयवन्त से भी बढ़कर हैं।” Introduction: The Spirit of an Overcomer Life brings battles—some are loud and external, others are quiet and internal. But as followers of Christ, we are not called to live in defeat. God has given us the strength to stand, the grace to endure, and the power to overcome. Today’s message is a call to rise up and declare, “I will not give up!” God Is the Source of Our Strength

Sowing and Reaping: The Spiritual Law That Shapes Our Lives

Image
Sowing and Reaping: The Spiritual Law That Shapes Our Lives Text: Galatians 6:7-9 “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” 6:7–9 Introduction Imagine a farmer planting seeds in a field. The farmer knows the seed determines the harvest.
